Russia Kicks Out Fifty-Thousand North Korean Spies

Currently, Russia's government plans to send home fifty thousand North Korean spies in 2019. The UN Security Council's Resolution 2397, adopted last month, requires all North Koreans to return to their homeland within two years to stop current spying and corruption in the cash flow. All of the North Koreans responsible have been found stealing from companies and secretly transferring money to the home capital, Pyongyang. If the North Koreans are not out of Russia by 2019 then they shall be sentenced to jailtime or even a death penalty.

How did the spies get found in the first place? One of Russias number stations was found making strange noises during normal broadcasting hours. Morse code and whispering were playing in the background during normal music hours. Some of the codes were to celebrate holidays and most were information about what the Russian government was doing. Of course, Putin had no toleration towards these spies and immidiately had the act approved.

Now Russian citizens are worried about how so many spies got into the country. One group of citizens "terrified" at what might come if North Korea found anything to use. "This may begin a war between us and them, if anything I might leave Russia if any war is declared. I have kids and family who live with me and the thought of losing them is horrifying." Putin stays quiet while supreme leader Kim Jon-Un says "[he] will not tolerate this disrespect and [he dares Putin] to reconsider his action before future conflict will occur."
